Building a Braintrust

Manifesting movement. Irrigating imaginations. The Kidevolve Braintrust Meet Up last week was a huge success. Our group test drove amazing games and tools in mindfulness (psst. we might have felt like big kids... and loved it)

What happens when you start nurturing a culture that supports kids becoming compassionate, aware and emotionally intelligent little people? People respond. A natural network starts emerging.

The last year has been a fascinating, fun and inspiring journey. As soon as Kidevolve began offering hands-on, physical programs to kids around mindfulness training, heaps of businesses, leaders, parents, teachers, researchers, academics, kids have hopped aboard to help influence the Kidevolve Space. Everyone recognizes that there is a very important spark here. Kids need mindfulness tools. And grown ups really need them!

Instead of working independently with our growing network, Kidevolve has decided to gather this diverse and brilliant group together. We're calling it the Kidevolve Braintrust. Our goal is to inspire, motivate and support each other to achieve our individual and collective missions. Together we will be able to ensure we reach more kids with mindfulness programming.

We hosted our first Kidevolve Braintrust Meet Up last week. Not surprisingly, hearts opened, collaborations emerged, and we all got wild and wacky with our imaginations as we channeled kid energy.

Kidevolve's goal is to keep expanding this rich network. We want to continue to add to our fizzy bit of personality and culture by creating a collaborative space of like-minded brains. We believe that it's possible to work towards our individual and collective goals. And have fun doing it!
